Here you can follow the developement of our outdoorcamp.
a couple of weeks ago we (ingrid, michel and benjamin) decided to explore the possibilities of developing a outdoorcamp in beautiful pärlström.
pärlström is located 18 km from Åsele on road 90 in västerbotten kommun, sweden.
this beautiful area is known for excellent fishing waters, sleddog opportunities, hiking, rafting and more.
The plan is to build a outdoorcamp many many things you can do. both summer and winter time.
for exampel:
Put and take fishing
guided fishing tours
camping with cabins
forest hiking with natureguide
climbing with instructor
rafting
basic survival training
knife building
sleddog trips
ice fishing
ice skating
and many more
when ingrid became the owner of pärlström nr. 12 she became the owner of a property which was totally build for put and take fishing. for us the job to clean it up, remove all that has grown too long around the fishing bassins, empty the bassins from fish and buy new fish to put out.
with this almost done we started to clean up the huge parking spot. it is equiped with 9 electricity poles with each 2 outputs. This means we can have up to 18 campers or caravans who use electricity.
A parking sign was quickly made and put along side the road. Also the touristbureau was informed that we have the possibility for camping. On the other side of the parking area Michel is cutting grass and removing smal trees. Not an easy job considering the area is as big as 2 football fields and he has to do the work with only a small non driven motor cutter!
When this is finished we'll built a toilet in the shed and fix water for the camping spot.
